This hand-painted wooden cabinet was originally commissioned as a family heirloom by the famous American Painter Jane Freilicher
Inside, delicate floral garlands edge the mail slots and compartments. Every surface is painted by hand, from the clouded panels to the pale blue roses trailing across the curved top and miniature veranda railing. It’s a quiet piece, built with care, meant to hold letters, notes, and the slow accumulation of a life.
It wasn’t intended to be sold. It was meant to stay in the family. But circumstances change, and suddenly certain things have to be let go. This is one of them.
