With the included AC adapter, you can use the boombox at home — it's splendid for an office or a dorm room. Or, just power it up with eight D batteries (not included) and take it with you when you leave the house.The boombox features a headphone jack and front-panel auxiliary input. You can use the auxiliary input to connect your iPod®, portable CD, or any portable music device with the help of a minijack cable. The boombox includes an indoor/outdoor SIRIUS antenna with a 20-foot cable, so you can position the antenna for premier reception of the SIRIUS signal. The radio must be docked in the boombox for the system to operate. A subscription to SIRIUS is also required.
